Best Porn Parodies

In the parody porn realm, the innuendo-laden titles nearly write themselves in most instances. The likes of Forest Hump and Star Whores come to mind. Puns run deep in the area of porn parodies, but to be considered one of the greats, XXX spoofs need to have more girth to them than creative titling alone.

We must traverse the Yellow Brick Road to probe into our first mention. In 2013, over 70 years after MGM’s musical fantasy film introduced the world to Judy Garland’s Dorothy character, X-Play brought us Not the Wizard of Oz XXX. In this randy remake, adorably sexy Maddy Reilly assumes the lead role and is led down an enlightening path of temptation and wonder.

During the full-length installment, viewers are not robbed of the original’s musical aspect. Naughty spins on authentic songs serve as an appreciated campy touch. The film is well-acted throughout and offers 7 varied scenes, including a pink-haired, pint-sized Stella Marie in a horny munchkin role. We are even treated to a Nina Hartley cameo as a dick-sucking Auntie Em.

2005’s Pirates, a Pirates of the Caribbean parody, boasts a simplistic title, but Digital Playground devoted tremendous effort and capital toward this scintillating production that went on to win scores of AVN awards. This ditty is a must-see for fans of the original who also have the good taste to value a high-quality porno.

Interestingly, Digital Playground jettisoned the hardcore scenes to also release a rated-R version. Even when shedding the shagging, the film’s engaging plot stands well on its own. That is saying something for a skin flick.

Loads of times, we have seen classic TV parodied. A ground-breaking offering in this territory was Not the Bradys XXX, a smutty spin on the iconic 1970’s Brady Bunch family show. Released in 2007, the film was not exactly pioneering, but it came at a time when DVD sales were declining due to the rise of online porn consumption. Parody porn became some studios’ answer to disappointing sales.

Hustler’s Not the Bradys XXX perfectly hits on the vintage 70s vibe with set design and wardrobe while revisiting the teen characters so many lusted after back in the day. The original’s laugh track was duplicated and lends to the comedic factor of this cornball throwback that ended up spawning four sequels teeming with the sort of screwing we love to love.

The curious vintage film Bat Pussy is rumored to be the first superhero porn parody ever made, but the film’s origins are shrouded in mystery. The actual production date remains an uncertainty, but it is believed to be from the early 70s. The movie was unearthed by filmmaker and musician Mike McCarthy when he stumbled upon many boxes of Vintage Super 8 and 16mm porn loops and films in a Memphis adult movie theater.

Eventually, Bat Pussy was released on VHS in 1996 by Something Weird Video and was ultimately made available on DVD. A cult following developed due to the “so bad, it’s good” factor at play. The uncredited cast lacks in passion, and many would say attractiveness, and the plot leaves much to be desired, but that is part of the allure of this vintage flick. Giving this one a watch may not provide a means to your happy ending, but its novelty makes it worth at least a quick look just to be able to say you’ve seen what many deem the worst porn ever made.
